León Fernando del Canto focus on the UK's role in tax avoidance

Our Managing Partner, León Fernando del Canto, has published in the prestigious British legal weekly journal Solicitors Journal (founded in 1856) an article on the fight against international tax avoidance and the UK’s role in it.

International tax avoidance is a burning issue both media both public opinion. Cases such as WikiLeaks or the most current “Panama papers” have been controversial. But this is not a new topic for organizations like the OEDC or the EU whose have been taking steps since years: OEDC drafted in 2013 the project BEPS on international tax avoidance, implemented in Europe throughout the Directive 2016/1164.
