On palaces and ashes

Our Managing Partner, León Fernando del Canto, has published in The Huffington Post a personal reflection on the transitivity of life and death entitled “Palaces and ashes“. As an example, he uses Ibrahim’s King of Balkh fable, from the VIII century (the old city of Bactria, currently Afghanistan), when a homeless slipped the security of his palace and compared said sumptuous palace with a hotel.

Del Canto writes: “I was wondering what beauty and welfare have to impress most of us so much. I did not find any answer“.
