Requirements for Applying for the Nomad Digital Visa
- Clean Record First:
- Ensure you have a clean slate with a certificate of no criminal record.
- Work History Check:
- Prove you’ve been working for the foreign at least 3 months before applying. If you’re an employee, show your contract length and employer’s consent to remote work in Spain. If you’re self-employed, detail your contract and terms for remote work.
- Certificate of Incorporation:
- Share a Certificate of Incorporation revealing your company’s creation date and nature of business.
- Social Security:
- Provide Social Security documentation and/or private health insurance
- Educational and Professional Proof:
- Showcase your university degree or professional certificate, verifying a minimum of 3 years of experience in your business.
- Financial Means:
- Demonstrate financial stability with resources at least 200% of the Spanish national minimum wage – 2,520 euros per month or 30,240 euros per year.
- For your first family member, add 75% more (around 945 euros per month or 11,340 euros per year).
- Each additional applicant requires 25% more (approximately 315 euros per month or 3,780 euros per year).
- Prove your financial standing with any acceptable means: work contracts, bank statements, payslips, and more.
