New Beckham Rule forms have been approved to include Digital Nomads, among others

New Beckham Rule forms have been approved to include Digital Nomads, among others. The Spanish government has recently published a new version of the Beckham Rule form, which is form 149.

This form applies to expatriates who benefit from the special tax regime. The new form incorporates the updated regulations of 2023 and includes digital nomads, company directors, entrepreneurs, and highly qualified professionals involved in start-up companies or carrying out training, research, development, or innovation activities.

The form also covers their spouses and children under 25, provided they meet certain requirements. The new regulations have expanded the coverage of the form to include workers, professionals, business people, and investors who move to Spanish territory.

These individuals are now required to fill out form 151, the “Personal Income Tax Return. Special regime applicable to workers, professionals, business people, and investors.” In addition to the new form, the Spanish government has also revised Form 210 to improve the management of self-assessments relating to property rental income.

This change is aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the tax system in Spain.
