Antonio Manuel Rodríguez Ramos was born in Almodóvar del Río, Córdoba, in 1968. An Andalusian intellectual and a dedicated teacher, he was very young when he won the National Award Amador de los Ríos for his first novel “Nenia”, and shortly afterwards he was awarded the Literary Creation Grant from the Provincial Council of Córdoba for “El desmayado vuelo de las cigüeñas”. After publishing some poetry compendiums, he devoted himself to music as founder member and compositor of the group Deneuve. He was a collaborator in different areas of communication, and with the “El Velo” script he won the International Award of Casablanca and Social Complaint of Salobreña.
